I loved the colors of this yarn and the way it striped.  I did not like having the stripe disrupted by the heel so I searched around and found one solution that fits me better than the short row heel.

I loved the Noro scarf on Brooklyntweed, but Noro is too scratchy for me so I spied the Berroco Jasper and ordered some.  It quickly arrived and after letting my mom snag 2 of the  6 skeins, then I was off and knitting.

My Version:

Berroco Jasper: 2 colors, 2 skeins each

Cast on 33 stitches

Size 9 needles

Row 1:  *k, p; repeat from * to end of row

Row 2:  slip 1 stich with yarn in front, *k, p; repeat from * until 1 stitch remains; slip 1 stitch with yarn in front

Change to 2nd color and repeat rows 1 & 2

Continue, changing color every 2 rows until scarf is desired length.
